Weaning Support that Fits You
There is no universal weaning plan. Every family arrives with a different child, a different rhythm, and a different reason to make a change. Whether you’re transitioning a breastfed toddler off night feeds, moving away from bottles, or rethinking milk-to-sleep patterns, we start with your context, not a script.
Mothers Reached
Six years of one-to-one support, webinars, workshops, and community work with families across Europe.
Cultures
We support families from many cultural backgrounds, finding solutions that fit their children, their values, and the life they actually live.
Meet Aspa
I’m Aspa Kandyli. I’m Greek, I live in the Netherlands, and I’m raising three children in a multilingual home. I’ve breastfed all three of them here; two have weaned, one is still nursing. That’s the personal piece.
The professional piece: I’m a certified sleep consultant and integrative breastfeeding educator (IPHI), and I teach the Greek-language IPHI training program for sleep consultants. My background is in education and research. I hold an MA from Utrecht University, and my academic work focuses on parenting, sustainability, and health. I’ve been consulting families since 2020 and supporting parents through peer communities for over seven years.
Most of what I do is help families think straight in situations where nothing is straightforward: conflicting advice, exhaustion, ten-minute appointments, opinions from family, and the constant low-grade pressure to do it right.
Before Weaned with Love, I co-founded apothilazo.gr, the first Greek-language project on weaning. Through it, my materials, webinars, and support have reached thousands of families working through breastfeeding, night-weaning, toddler sleep, guilt, and the kind of feeding transitions that don’t fit into a tidy plan.
Weaned with Love is where that experience lands now, for international and Dutch families. The focus is narrow on purpose ad it covera gentle weaning, night-weaning, bottles, and milk-to-sleep patterns in older babies and toddlers. For support in meal battles, raising children in a vegan/plant-based family, living in a multilingual/multicultural family, and sustainability family coaching, click here.
My mission is to help you understand your child’s relationship with milk right now, and figure out a transition you can actually carry through, one that fits your family, your nights, and what you have left to give.
